you couldnt dig on a rented chocobo on live

and you had to breed a chocobo for digging , so the more you spent skilling the choco better he was , thats kinda leveling , but yea no skill

i read about a classic server , when i connect to it no one is on it

did it fail? im more of a classic type , fishing gives no skill on that server btw and miss rate is high
