Search server

When players connect through my DNS server searches and AH dont work, but if they connect directly to my IP they have no issues any way to fix this?
I have ports TCP: 54230 54231 54001 54002 UDP 54230 all forwarded, and the Server search config is set up properly. Its a pain due to it working on players connecting to the IP and not the DNS, and when i connect to local host it works as well its just an issue with my DNS.


It says Search Failed when using both search and AH

It's a problem with the client, it's not resolving the DNS name when it tries to do a search

Found the issue. The MXI and FFXI-boot dont support DNS servers but fixed it up with a batch file i got from Jescin. With putting in the DNS server it will allow connection to the game but doesnt want to work with the search server.

Also i havent messed with darkstar in almost a year was hopping i could get an account on the old darkstar forums just to use as a read olny for a refresher course.
