You can run the updater, it won't erase your manual edits it will just tell you it can't update that file (if it can't merge your changes).
An easy way to back everything up just make a copy of your DSP folder

Re: Windurst Mission 2-1: Lost for words
FYI - Had to adjust checkDistance to <= 4.
I tested it by standing next to the rock. On all sides, a print(player:checkDistance(npc)); was returning 2.41 to 3ish. I think 2 would be like... on top of the rock xD

Re: Windurst Mission 2-1: Lost for words
As of today we're still having this problem on the old school realm. Two of the rocks out of the 6 in the lower area won't say anything, despite trying from several different areas around the rock. We have two members that can't.
In square I-8, in the room with the scorpions and bats is where one of them is, and the other is in the room with the four rocks, but we somehow managed to get this rock to react from time to time, by logging out, back in, and repositioning again, but it's really random. We're guessing that the key is on one of those two stones, and now they're not able to complete the mission.

Everything seems to be fixed now, and both characters got their coral, thanks a lot, Whasf!whasf wrote:Try now, I increased the range to the rocks
