As for signatures I can't do anything about that without whasf's help. To "fight off the trolls" make sure to use the "report this post" button at the bottom-right of an offending post. Repeat offenders who, in the moderators' best judgment crossed a line repeatedly, will be banned. Annoying posts may just be deleted, but posts designed to be inflammatory will result in a warning on the user's account.

Yes, that means you get more than one chance, no that doesn't mean I'm going to tell you exactly how many times you can misbehave before action is taken.

Add avatars to that, too. Just because the browser resizes, doesn't mean it loads quickly on my slow ass connection.

there's already an avatar size limit, i always have to export my avatar from gimp 3-4 times before it's small enough for here

Not to point fingers, but I wonder how it's allowing a 9.7MB animated gif for an avatar (not yours).

mine is only 20kb, but i know who you're talking about

there used to be one, maybe whasf removed it when i kept complaining (that's probably what happened)

didn't let me use it when whasf first enabled avatars but worked this time so im guessing he removed the limit
if you were talking about my avatar, its 978kb, not 9.7mb

I can only enforce an image width and height in the signature. What do we want it to be?
