Where is the file in the installation to put the ip of this server I am so out of touch with this

Ok, so the guide is a bit confusing here. Locate the windower settings file. The place where the profile is setup in an XML file. then copy and paste the stuff from the guide into it, replacing whatever they have with your server IP.

using ashita to connect to nasomi server probably same client

Hmm, I don't know about ashita. You should be able to just replace the XML in the config, but hopefully someone else can steer you exactly right

Regardless, same client won't work with normal DSP and nasomi (Well, it would work, and you would have all sorts of issues, like unable to see NPCs, mobs, things like that...).
Nasomi does not update to follow retail version, so the version is much older. Why Nasomi has a custom installer.
