Game wont launch
Game wont launch
Hello!
Sooo I am hosting a server on my PC. I can get on the game perfectly fine through it, but my friend cannot (friend is on a seperate internet connection and no where near here ) On my end it says he logs in then logs out. On his end, ashita opens the cmd box, logs in and then disappears without loading the game.
Any ideas?

Re: Game wont launch
If he tries to run the boot-loader manually without passing through Ashita he should see the error he really receives.

Re: Game wont launch
Progress! He deleted an FFXI file and did check files. Now if logs in and then pol.exe crashes.altalus wrote:If he tries to run the boot-loader manually without passing through Ashita he should see the error he really receives.

And someone from the irc tried to connect and WAS successful.
Re: Game wont launch
There was an update to FFXI today. I cannot connect anymore so we'll have to wait for a dev to check why we cannot start the game anymore.

To fix the initial issue be needed to update FFXI through Playonline check files. Then he needed visual c++ 2013. The one in the wiki is 2012.
